Call For Papers

The Central European Pragmatist Forum (CEPF) invites paper submissions for its Third International Conference in Kraków, Poland, in June, 2002. The CEPF was formed in recognition of the growing interest in Central and Eastern Europe in pragmatism and American philosophy generally. The purpose of the biennial conference is to provide the opportunity for American and European specialists in American philosophy to spend several days discussing their work.

The theme of the 2002 conference is Deconstruction and Reconstruction. All papers that speak to this general theme are invited. The conference will be fairly small, roughly 15 Americans and 15 Europeans, which allows sufficient time for all sessions to be plenary and for all participants to get to know one another. The language of the conference is English.

Registration Fee approximately $500, travel expenses additional.

Deadline for Paper Submissions: December 15, 2001
